Adventist Community Services Disaster Response

(ACSDR) is a community service of the Seventh-day Adventist Church provided completely free of charge. ACSDR has written Memorandums of Understanding (MOU's) with the American Red Cross and with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), and is a member of NVOAD(National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster).

ACSDR serves in times of disaster without regard to race, creed, age, sex, religion or ethnic origin. Services include collection and distribution of donated goods, warehouse operations, chain saw teams, and support for victims and disaster response personnel.

The Seventh-day Adventist organization statewide provides a network which assists in times of disaster as well as provide assistance within existing and available resources, both material and human for the affected community at large.
