Assists Tornado Victims

The inhabitants of Marengo, Indiana knew very little about the Adventist Church and its mission. That soon changed. The Disaster Response Team, wearing bright yellow shirts and photo identification name badges, were soon easily recognized and appreciated.

1 Pentecostal pastor decided to join the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
1 Volunteer is requesting sponsorship to attend Forest Lake Academy.
1 Mayor requesting evangelistic meetings to be held in City Hall in the town of Century.
2 Volunteers wanting to plant a church.
6 Newspaper articles featuring Adventists (front page of Tampa Tribune).
TV News coverage.
Tallahasee State Headquarters Emergency Operations Center gave a standing ovation to
Adventist Church their help.
Adventist Church was recognized by State of Florida to order quantity supplies direct.
Tens of thousands saw the Adventist Church in action helping their neighbors.
15,000 pieces of Adventist literature given out.
Revival and unity in 4 churches
2,500 volunteers discipled in being the hands and feet of Jesus.
4 volunteers requested to join Fort Pierce Church following invitation.
